The most beautiful cars at the Paris Motor Show

The most beautiful cars at the Paris Motor Show
Ferrari 488 Spider "Green Jewel"
The Paris Motor Show is now on and minus the flashy brands that seemed to have skipped on the show this year, there were still a handful of cars that were announced and they looked smashing! Like the theme that we noticed this year, some manufacturers stuck to form over function while others like Renault went all out with the air brush that resulted in some drool-worthy machines. Some were concepts, but Ferrari had some really interesting cars including an emerald green one with a red seat that stole the show.

Practicality was indeed not on the company’s list of priorities as the company wanted to show off something unique. And with a crazy design like this, they sure made the electric future look drool-worthy and fun instead of dull, subtle (and at times boring) like the others. Renault Trezor Concept Side Renault Trezor Concept Top Up

Mercedes AMG GT R
While Mercedes Benz did have its fair share of announcements, the AMG division did grab plenty of eyeballs with its hair-raising AMG GT R finished in the only green we love on a super car, “AMG Green Hell Magno”. No this isn’t AMG referring to hell looking better in green, but is the brand’s reference to the real “Green Hell” or the Nurburgring racetrack where this beast was tested. While the supercar was announced earlier, this was its first official auto show appearance for the general public.

GLM G4
Most of us have probably never heard of GLM. But Kyoto-based company did put on quite the show with an electric supercar called the GLM G4. Gull-wing doors. Check! 0-100kph in 3.2 seconds. Check! 260 mile range. Check! 4 seats! Double Check! glc-g4 (3)

Ferrari 488 Spider “Green Jewel”
Ferrari had five new one-offs on showcase at the Paris Motor Show. The company wanted to bring in its 70 year anniversary early with a bang and its sure made a point with existing cars in new trims. Out of the five that were showcased, the 488 Spider special edition called the “Green Jewel” sure wins our vote! What cannot figure out is why the colour green is suddenly making its way on supercars. AMG GT R has it as well, but this Ferrari 488 has plenty of striking details that make it stand out, including its gold wheels, and one red seat.

Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta
Similar to the angry AMG GT R which made its first auto show appearance, Ferrari had a stealth-looking, LaFerrari Aperta on its stands. With a combined power out of 950bhp, this hybrid hypercar is the topless version of LaFerrari (with a few under body modifications) and all 209 of these specials are sold out.
